The GX Tank 140 seamlessly integrates with up to four tank level sensors, serving as a supplementary component for our GX system monitoring products, with the Cerbo GX being the primary model. Local read-outs within the system and remote monitoring via our VRM Portal provide comprehensive tank level insights.
Compatible with both current senders (4 to 20 mA) and voltage senders (0 to 10 V), the GX Tank 140 connects to the GX Device via USB, eliminating the need for additional power wires as it draws power through the USB connection.
Simplified tank sender wiring includes two inputs providing a 24 V power supply for sender operation. The remaining two channels require external power, featuring a power in terminal with fused outputs for convenient connection. Configurable upper and lower limits accommodate various sender scales, such as 0 to 5 V.
Ensuring stable readings, the GX Tank 140 employs averaged damping, adjustable between 1 and 60 seconds. The system detects faulty sensors and wiring issues, triggering an alarm for out-of-range values.
In marine applications, the GX Device transmits tank levels on the NMEA 2000 network, accessible by other displays like an MFD for enhanced versatility.
