The reverse osmosis pump is provided with overpressure protection - check valves with springs in them. The damage to the valves will result in them not being able to switch flows and thus relieve excess pressure. If springs get conpromised or weaken it will lead to a malfunction of the bypass valve. We suggest buying a set of 8 springs for the pump in advance to prevent serious damage to the watermaker.
