The VC Tar2 Epoxy Primer in White is a two-component epoxy primer designed to provide protection against osmosis on gelcoat-coated polyester boats and anti-corrosive protection on steel and light alloy surfaces. This primer is self-leveling, easy to apply, and can be overcoated quickly without the need for sanding between layers. It offers excellent waterproofing properties, making it suitable for both preventative and curative osmosis treatments. Ideal for use with VC antifoulings, this primer comes in a 2.5L size and is available in both black and white colors. With a 7:1 mixing ratio by volume, it can be applied using a brush or roller and should be diluted with VC General Thinner. Allow for a minimum of 2 hours and a maximum of 3 days for drying at 20°C. Each liter covers approximately 11.30m², providing practical coverage of 9m² when applied with a brush. Note that this product is only suitable for use below the waterline.
