Unikote PRO is a high-build, two-component paint that serves the dual purpose of providing protection and finish. It can be applied on top of any pre-existing coating in good condition or directly onto gel-coat, steel, and light alloy surfaces without needing a low and high-thickness primer. The paint is highly resistant to atmospheric agents, immersion, abrasion, and wear and possesses excellent chemical and mechanical durability. This new formulation is designed to resist carbamate formation and has a little tendency to blush. Therefore, it can also be used as a finish for professional boats, although its glossiness may fade faster than enamels. Unikote PRO is an excellent choice for all types of working boats, thanks to its long-lasting protection, the ability to be applied under less favorable climatic conditions, and the practical advantage of using the same product for the hull, topsides, deck, and interiors.
