This versatile buoy offers the option of being used as either a drifting buoy or a traditional regatta buoy, providing the added advantage of compact size and user-friendly design. Constructed from sturdy and rigid PVC with a density of 1100 Decitex, it boasts a bright yellow color that enhances visibility. With minimal drifting in the wind, this buoy remains vertical due to the ballast bag located at the bottom and a substantial immersed section measuring 52 cm.
The buoy can be quickly inflated and deflated for ease of use. Numerous grab handles facilitate easy hoisting back on board. Its small folded dimensions make it convenient to carry. The ballast pouch, equipped with Velcro fastening, can hold up to 14 kg. This pouch also serves as a useful storage solution for any excess length of mooring line, preventing entanglement with the rudder or keel.
