The VC Tar2 Epoxy Primer Black 1L is a two-component epoxy primer that provides protection against osmosis on gelcoat-coated polyester boats and anti-corrosion protection on steel and light alloy. Specifically designed for use below the waterline, this primer is self-leveling for a smooth finish, easy to apply, and can be overcoated quickly without the need for sanding between layers. It offers excellent waterproofing properties, making it suitable for both preventive and curative osmosis treatment. Ideal for use with VC antifoulings, this black primer can be applied with a brush or roller, mixed at a ratio of 7:1, and thinned with VC General Thinner.
