A brand that was founded over 20 years ago in 2000, when manufacturers from the French SGTI released several multihulls and occupied the niche of sailing pleasure catamarans. They gained popularity thanks to models Camping Cat 23 and Diabolo 28, which were later renamed Aventura 23 and 28 respectively. They later registered the lineup and trademarks Aventura Yachts and Aventura catamarans.

In order to optimize production costs and increase production volumes, in 2007 the company moved the plant from the French La Rochelle to a new facility in Tunis.

In 2017 Aventura Catamarans has announced a complete lineup update. For these purposes, the shipyard invited the famous studio Lasta Design, famous for her work on multihulls for the Bali brand. This gave positive results - the new A34 was nominated for the title of the best catamaran of 2019 at the boat show in Düsseldorf.

Today, Aventura ships are built at the Menzel-Bourguiba shipyard in Tunisia, which is owned by French owners. The range of the Aventura shipyard Catamaran includes catamarans made of composite materials with a length of 10 m (33 ft) to 13 m (43 ft). Sailing models are represented by cruising catamarans with deck saloon. In 2016, the company's portfolio was replenished with motor multihulls . Models Aventura 33 and Aventura 43 are created in the workshop of Martin Deflin, a French architect with 30 years of experience.
