Contest 101 Compass - Tactical VS

By inventing the double reading, Plastimo allowed the navigator to follow his course from the cockpit and the cabin. 
The Contest 101 goes even further: its exclusive mounting on any type of partition, and its lines allow it to adapt technically and always remain in harmony with the design of current boats.

The Contest 101 tactical model combine the functions of :
• Main steering compass, from card horizontal surface. Course is read from the lubber lines mounted in the lower part of the bowl.
• Tactical compass, from card vertical section (direct reading). Tactician-crew only needs to memorise one figure for the 3 legs of an olympic course.

The rose of each compass is manually balanced to ensure perfect horizontality. This is an extremely delicate operation, where know-how and meticulousness are guarantees of quality.

Mounting: on a vertical surface.

Can be pole mounted with optional mast kit.

The rose retains all its efficiency and maximum pitch travel without the risk of jamming.
Double reading: cockpit side and cabin side.
Rose: double graduation: horizontal and vertical, graduated every 5°, headings every 30°.
Apparent diameter of tactical card 100 mm. 
Functional heelmeter.

Lubber lines: 3 lubber lines, at 45°.
Gitometer: reminder of heel every 10°.
Lighting: LED 12-24V.
Comply with ISO 25862.
