It can be both used as a comfortable seat and in case of emergency as buoyancy aid if someone falls overboard. 

The braided rope allows for easy gripping, and it can be securely fastened on board using the built-in hook. 

The cover can be easily cleaned with fresh water and dried in the sun for low maintenance. 

Additionally, two separate cushions can be combined with the integrated Velcro to create a backrest and seat.
