Equipped with a DSC class D module, this VHF device allows communication with other boats or authorities on channel 70 using the MMSI identifier, a unique boat code issued by the authority. Standard AIS and GPS functions, including SOG (Speed Over Ground), COG (Course Over Ground), TCPA & CPA alarms, and more, provide valuable information for navigation and safety.
The device also offers standard VHF functions such as channel 16, dual/tri watch, squelch control, distress button, and the option to transmit at high power (25W) or low power (1W). An optional external speaker can be connected for FOG (Fog Horn) and anchor alarm functionality at 20W.
The MOB (Man Over Board) feature allows you to save the GPS point, enabling quick recovery and assistance for someone who has fallen into the sea. With connections available for NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183 on RS232 serial, the device can seamlessly integrate with compatible instruments and display data on the "Tools" screen.
