Dinghy Gibsy A 270 meets all the requirements for a vessel suited for navigation in coastal waters: the presence of a rigid transom, a hard floor and a keel, which can be inflated. The diameter of the air chambers also matters. Such features are not accidental:
- hard floor provides the strength to the bottom and enhances the rigidity of the entire structure;
- a rigid transom provides a secure mounting of the outboard engine and also increases the mechanical rigidity of the boat;
- the keel requires a hard stop and provides the boat with maneuverability and stability of the chosen course.
The Gibsy A 270 is fitted with an aluminum floor with slats laid across the bottom using the spike-groove method. It provides high bottom strength and a reliable stop for the keel.
The rigid transom is made of marine plywood, a durable moisture-resistant material that easily holds the motor mount with a high-powered engine.
The inflatable keel acts as the fourth air chamber, in addition to the three chambers of the hull, increasing the stability of the boat on the waves at high speed, does not allow it to go astray, and provides excellent maneuverability.
With an aluminum slatted floor, marine plywood transom, inflatable keel and 42 cm hull air chambers, all important features of the boat, including load capacity, are improved. This model can carry 3-4 people, as well as loads of the appropriate weight.
Due to the increased mechanical rigidity, a more powerful 8 HP outboard motor is recommended for this model.
The cost of Dinghy Gibsy A 270 is indicated without a motor - it must be purchased separately, as well as an assortment of additional equipment.
