Azimut Magellano 66 for Sale

In 2015, one of the most successful Azimut models - the Magellano 66 motor yacht with a carbon fiber and fiberglass hull, saw the light of day. The 20.15 m long yacht with 5 passenger cabins and a draft of 1.67 m can accelerate up to 23 knots per hour. The yacht became the best in its size category according to the World Yachts Trophies and was also awarded the Motor Boat Awards in 2017.

Muscles of the Exterior and Luxury of the Interior

Exterior and interior design were taken care of by Cor D. Rover Yacht Design and Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture in collaboration with Azimut Yachts. Naval architects gave the vessel the shape of a modern trawler with a muscular hull characteristic of this class. Interior designers designed the rooms with an emphasis on comfort, having worked out every little thing.

Magellano 66 provides maximum privacy for vacationers and at the same time provides huge spaces for relaxing in a friendly company. The large flybridge has two seating areas, a foredeck lounge and an aft terrace, and that's not including the wide swim platform, which can be turned into a beach bistro with a few sun loungers and a table for drinks.

The main deck arrangement is offered in two versions: with a separate galley or open-plan, where the saloon is combined with the kitchen.

The model was made adhering to “Like Home” concept. All the furnishings are made in full, and not "truncated" size: full-fledged sofas, tables, cabinets, armchairs - everything is indeed like at home. Therefore, the boat will be comfortable on two-three-day cruises, not to mention noisy parties in the marina.

On the lower deck, the full width of the hull is the master cabin, two VIP cabins and another guest cabin with double berths, which can be used as a storage room. In total, eight guests and two crew members can stay overnight on board.

Trawler and Traveler

Magellano 66 is the fifth model in the Azimut trawler yacht range. The yacht received the World Yachts Trophies as the most innovative boat of the year in her category.
The vessel has a significant power reserve. On two diesel Volvos Penta D13 with a power of 800 HP, it exceeded the speed and range declared by the shipyard: almost 24 knots and 1000 miles against 22 knots and 900 miles.
